In September, Premiere Performances will present a Pop Up Concert at Tai Kwun, the newly revitalized police headquarters in Central. This Pop Up Concert will feature an afternoon of chamber music by the award-winning Ulysses Quartet.

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to collaborate with Premiere Performances of Hong Kong on the occasion of the Hong Kong debuts of the Ulysses Quartet. We are delighted to announce that they are bringing Canadian violinist Christina Bouey who is an active soloist and chamber musician along with the award winning Ulysses Quartet to Hong Kong.

About Ulysses Quartet 

Formed in 2015, the Ulysses Quartet has already been collecting major prizes on the competition scene, including the Grand Prize and the Gold Medal in the Senior String Division of the 2016 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, First Place in the American Prize, and 2nd Prize of the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition in 2017.

Hailing from Canada, the United States and Taiwan, members have performed in prestigious halls such as Esterházy Palace, Carnegie Hall, and the Taiwan National Concert Hall. Recent season highlights include appearances at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, La Jolla Music Society SummerFest, and Emilia Romagna Festival. The Ulysses Quartet has also just been awarded 1st prize at the Schoenfeld International Chamber Music Competition in Harbin, China in July 2018.
